The freshness of the new year still in the air. Let us contribute to this freshness with another topic of getting rid of anger and become a ‘New You’.
Anger – the most common virtue which causes suffering to the person who gets angry. Yes, get angry next time and observe who gets more affected?
Anger is something with which we punish ourselves for the fault of others, right ? It’s okay guys. We are not the only responsible person for the change we want to see in them or any situation for the matter. Things can be changed perfectly only when we skip the situation for that time, cool our grudge and then respond.
I too get angry at times though. But I have started realizing it that it is foolish to be so and shift myself very soon.
You remember that story of nailing a nail ? A son was told by his father to nail a nail in the wall each time he gets angry. He started doing it. Day by day where he nailed 2-3 times a day it came to 1. Then it came to alternate day and decreased gradually but consistently. Happily, he told his father that he hasn’t nailed since a month. His father appreciated his controlling power and asked him to remove the nails. He then explained him, ‘Son, nails are no more but has left the marks.’ He took a lifetime lesson and never ever got angry.
The change for the day ‘ No more anger.’
